City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to confirm that Cara Sheppard is retuning to our Women’s First Team roster for the 2022/23 season!
Cara joined us prior to the start of last season after representing University of Birmingham, where she competed in the BUCS competition.
Having continued her development with us as part of our National and Local League rosters last season we are excited to have her return to the team this season.
Assistant Coach Peter Mintoft worked with Cara last season and is looking forward to seeing her continue to progress this year.
He said, “Cara brings good leadership qualities to the group as well as bring a proficient outside scoring threat.
“She is a keen learner and I am looking forward to seeing her continue to push on this year!”
