City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to confirm the return of Emma James to our Women’s First Team roster for 2022/23!
Emma joined us ahead of our inaugural National League season in 2021/22 after graduating from Lancaster University and playing BUCS level competition during her time there.
Emma impressed Coach Peter Mintoft during their time together last season and he has been impressed with how quickly she has adapted to new Head Coach Ryan Emery’s methods.
He said, “Emma is another player who was with us last season and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work with her once again this year.
“She has adapted well to Coach Emery’s systems and will undoubtedly prove to be a useful asset for the team as the season progresses.”
We are looking forward to seeing Emma back on the court in a Rockets jersey very soon.
