Schools Programme
Our Rockets Schools Programme, supported by Aston University, enables Primary and Secondary schools across the region to experience a club coach delivering sessions during curriculum time and after school. Pupils will receive an amazing experience with one of our dedicated Rockets community coaches.
We have been delivering our sessions in schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands region for several years now, creating many memorable experiences for pupils aged from 5 years old up to 18 years old. Our coaches are trained to provide a value-for-money service. We provide our own equipment and all coaches are a minimum of level 2 qualified with each holding a valid DBS certificate and having completed a recent Child Safeguarding course.
For the past 8 years, we have been the Birmingham Schools Games chosen deliverer for both Primary and Secondary tournaments. Our ability to organise and deliver outstanding events has ensured fantastic experiences for everyone involved.

Rockets Basketball Hubs
Our new ‘Rockets Basketball Hubs’ are specially selected educational institutions in and around Birmingham which will see a heavy Rockets basketball presence both within the school and local community.
Shireland Collegiate Trust
Shireland Academy, Shireland Technology Primary & Shireland Sixth Form have recently joined us as one such destination under the trust, with the club and school both working together to provide outstanding basketball coaching and opportunities to its young people.
The school will be a base for Rockets and basketball activity in the Smethwick region with basketball camps and sessions running alongside regular school delivery.
