Job Title: Rockets Community Coach
Hours: Casual hours
Salary: £15 per hour
City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to be offering opportunities for new coaches to join our community team from January 2022.
Due to the successful growth of our organisation we now have casual coaching opportunities within our community programme. As part of our community coaching team, you will be delivering weekly sessions in school and club environments, teaching young people with a variety of abilities, and promoting the club to potential new participants.
Successful candidates will ideally possess a level 2 basketball qualification (not essential) with prior experience of coaching young people at a grassroots level. You will be dynamic, motivating, people-friendly and have a desire to gain more experience in this field.
Applicants will ideally be prepared to work flexible hours and be able to travel independently to sessions across the city.
You will report to the club’s Community Manager and Coach Mentor and participate in regular coach development meetings / training days.
