We are excited to announce the signing of Matt Gaskell to the men’s first team for the upcoming season!
Matt’s a regular of ours who’s been playing for us since he was just 11 years old.
Having played basketball with us at the Rockets’ Solihull Sixth Form academy, Matt went on to represent Anglia Ruskin University for three years.
The 6’3 shooting guard has also been involved with England’s youth setup at under-14s and we look forward to having him on our team.
Managing Director Rob Palmer said: “Matt is another product of our development programme and having been with the club for over a decade he is familiar with the culture, ethos and standards that we expect from those at our organisation.
“His outstanding shooting capabilities will no doubt provide Coach Douglas and the team with an additional offensive threat and we are excited to see Matt once again representing the Rockets.”
Matt is exciting to join up with the Rockets this season and said: “I am really excited to get started.
“I am looking forward to getting back and playing competitively again. I am excited to feel that again and to play in a game that matters.”
