Ahead of our upcoming home fixtures, we are encouraging supporters to ditch the matchday traffic, skip the car park hunt, and take advantage of our partnership with West Midlands Railway to travel by train.

Nechells Wellbeing Centre is well connected by public transport, making rail travel one of the fastest and most convenient ways to bring your noise to the Rockets’ den.

Step 1: Board Your West Midlands Railway Service

West Midlands Railway operates frequent local services directly into Duddeston Station, which sits as our primary matchday rail hub.

  • From Birmingham New Street: Hop on a northbound train toward Walsall or Four Oaks/Lichfield Trent Valley. Duddeston is just one stop (approx. 3 minutes) from New Street, making connection from the broader rail network seamless.

  • From Walsall & The Black Country: Direct services run southward into Duddeston, bringing you straight into the city without needing to change trains in Central Birmingham.

Check the West Midlands Railway app or site in advance for group discounts or Off-Peak ticket options when travelling in pairs or family groups.

Step 2: The Short Walk to Nechells Wellbeing Centre

Once you step off the platform at Duddeston Station, the arena is less than a 10-minute walk (approx. 0.4 miles) away:

  1. Exit Duddeston Station onto Duddeston Mill Road.

  2. Head west along Duddeston Mill Road toward the main junction.

  3. Turn right onto Rupert Street.

  4. Continue straight down Rupert Street; Nechells Wellbeing Centre will be on your right.
