City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to announce the addition of Heather Maxwell to our Women’s First Team roster for 2022/23!
Heather has played with Reading Rockets for the past two years, competing as part of their NBL Division One roster in 2021/22.
She also enjoyed success in last season’s WEABL – ranking as one of the league’s top shot blockers with 0.7 BPG.
Head Coach Ryan Emery is looking forward to working with Heather this year and believes she can play an important role this season.
He said, “Heather brings great pedigree, coming from the Reading Rockets, Heather has contributed to some very good teams that have competed at the highest level.
“Her size and playmaking ability are going to key for us this season.”
We would like to welcome Heather into the Rockets family and look forward to seeing her out on the court in a Rockets jersey in 2022/23!
