Free Basketball Sessions At Redeveloped Courts Across Birmingham This Summer!

We’re teaming up with Basketball England, Sport England, and Birmingham City Council to bring fun, high-energy basketball to your local court this summer as part of the Commonwealth Games Legacy Project!

Players are encouraged to join us at the following newly redeveloped courts across the city…

βœ… Nechells Wellbeing Centre (B7 4AR) – from 23rd June (for 6 weeks)


βœ… Nechells Park / Mount Street (B7 5GA) – from 21st June (for 6 weeks)

β€¨βœ… Chamberlain Gardens (B16 8JL) – from 24 June (for 6 weeks)


βœ… Tower Street (B19 3RR) – from 2 July (for 4 weeks)

β€¨βœ… Woodview Pocket Park (B15 2HT) – from 6 July (for 4 weeks)

Players do not need to register in advance for these free sessions.

  • Fun drills, competitions & games led by Rockets coaches
  • Community giveaways
  • A chance to learn, play, and connect – all ages & abilities welcome!
