Bad weather affected a number of our games over the weekend, with both our Under-16 girls, Under-16 boys conference, Under-18 boys premier and our Under-9 and Under-11 YBL teams’ matches being postponed due to severe weather.
This meant that unfortunately there were no games at Nechells Wellbeing Centre on either Saturday or Sunday, however a number of away fixtures did take place.
Our Under-14 boys conference team were away at Leicester Riders, losing 66-57 in a close contest against the league leaders.
Our Under-16’s narrowly lost 70-60 to Derby Trailblazers on Sunday and will look to bounce back when they play away at Leicester Riders next Saturday, before they look forward to a quarter final cup tie against Manchester Magic on Sunday.
Our Under-15 girls team fell to a defeat in their first YBL fixture of the season, as they lost 70-18 to Bromsgrove Bears.
