City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball would like to congratulate Tia May and Ziah Francis for being selected to the England Talent Programme.
Both players were selected after impressing during the ASPIRE programme and will now take part in a three day camp at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.
Tia will be joining up with the Under-14 Girls whilst Ziah will join up with the Under-14 Boys programme.
Rockets CEO, Robert Palmer, had this to say about their inclusion: “We are extremely pleased and proud of the selection of these two young talented players.
“Their selection into the national programme deservedly recognises not only their talent, but also the great effort and commitment they have shown during the past season.
“We wish Ziah and Tia successful camps and also thank their families, coaches and teammates for the support they have given to both players.”
