City of Birmingham Rockets are delighted to announce that Ronald Oberia is returning to Rockets in what represents yet another statement signing ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Ronald returns to the club after spells at Team Derby Spartans, Derbyshire Spartans, Derby Trailblazers and most recently, Team Birmingham Elite.
Ronald’s impact was immense last season, with the 6″4 wing contributing over 20 points-per-game whilst also putting up 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals-per-game.
Coach Nuno Rodrigues is looking forward to working with Ron and is excited about the season ahead.
He said, “Ron is another top player that we are excited to add to our roster.
“I look forward to getting to work with him in what will hopefully be a very successful season for our club!”
Despite being just 24 years old, Ron’s experience at NBL Division Two & Division One level will undoubtedly add value to Coach Rodrigues’ roster and we look forward to seeing him back on the court representing Rockets once again this season!
