Last week, Rockets GM Robert Palmer attended the partners meeting in Alicante along with participating organisations from HLA Alicante, Bulgarian Special Olympics Consortium and Wetterbygden Basketball from Huskvarna in Sweden.
We look forward to our first programme of delivery in Sweden in December and for the long term growth of inclusive basketball sessions at City Of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club.
Speaking about the trip, Robert said:“The Erasmus BasketJoy Inclusion project is a very exciting initiative for the club to now be involved in.
“It was an especially positive meeting with our partners from Bulgaria, Sweden and Spain. I was very pleased to see the amount of knowledge and experience that we will all be able to share to ensure this project will be a great success.“
