A busy weekend of action for our junior sides saw a host of competitive games take place throughout our age groups.
On Saturday our Under-12 Mixed Team took on Team Birmingham Elite and were able to secure a 54-52 victory in a fiercely competitive matchup, with our young Rockets doing well to secure the win in a difficult environment.
Our Under-14 Conference Side were also in action as they took on Walsall Wizards at Nechells Wellbeing Centre. The Wizards were able to snatch the points in a tight 46-44 encounter.
They would secure a victory on Sunday away at Stourport Spartans, coming away with a close-fought 44-43 victory.
Our Under-14 Boys Premier Team played on Sunday against Manchester Magic, and unfortunately came away with defeat as they fell to a 82-60 loss at the Manchester Basketball Centre.
Our Under 16 Boys Conference side took on West Bromwich Albion Basketball Team. In a hard-fought game, West Brom came out on top, eventually running out as 81-53 winners.
Finally, our Under-16 Premier side overcame Team Birmingham Elite 63-52 to continue their impressive start to the season having won all three of their league matches so far.
Next weekend we go again, with our Under 12s and Under 14 Conference in action against Leicester Riders and Derby Trailblazers, while our Under 16 Premier Team play in the cup at Milton Keynes.
