The Birmingham Rockets Junior Leadership Academy is a weekly development pathway for ambitious young people aged 11–16 who want to grow beyond the game.
Over 16 weeks, you’ll build confidence, develop leadership skills and gain hands-on coaching experience alongside our professional staff.
Whether you want to become a coach, work in sport, or simply grow as a person, this programme gives you the tools, the mentorship and the opportunity.
You just need to be curious, committed, and ready to lead.
By the end of the programme, you’ll have developed skills in communication, organisation and coaching – and you’ll have built relationships and experiences that last far beyond basketball.
Who is it for? Young people aged 11–16 based in or around Birmingham.
