City of Birmingham Rockets’ Ricardo D’Alva and his fellow Hometown Heroes from across the city met with Prince Edward, the CEO of the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the Mayor of Birmingham at Birmingham Library yesterday.
Ricardo has been recognised as one of Birmingham’s key players in encouraging participation and promoting mental and physical wellbeing within grassroots sport as part of the Hometown Hero initiative.
After attending the Queen’s Baton Relay back in October, Ricardo has once again been recognised for his commitment and dedication to grassroots sport in the city.
Everyone at the Club would once again like to congratulate Ricardo for achieving the recognition his work deserves, and we look forward seeing first hand the continued impact of his work on the young people of Birmingham.
