City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to confirm that Ekeleda Pashaj has returned to the club for the 2022/23 season!
Enke was an influential figure in the group during the 2021/22 season, controlling the court from the point guard spot.
A popular figure within the team, Enke brings tough defensive energy and intensity to the Rockets squad – traits she demonstrated to great effect at times last season.
She will no doubt have a big part to play on and off the court this season as Coach Emery looks to build on the positive start that the team have made to their National League Division Two campaign.
As a returning player from last season, she will be no stranger to the Rockets fans and we look forward to seeing her out on the court in a Rockets jersey very soon!
Assistant Coach Peter Mintoft, who worked closely with Enke last season, is delighted to have the opportunity to work with her again.
He said: “Enke is a fantastic character and I am so pleased that she will be part of the group for the season.
“She is a hard worker and someone the team can always rely on and I have no doubt that she will be important once again for us this season.”
