City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to announce the addition of Ellie Pierpoint to our Women’s First Team roster for the 2022/23 season.
Ellie becomes our second roster addition after Michelle Turner committed to the club last week.
Having spent time at Worcester Wolves with new Rockets Head Coach Ryan Emery back in the 2017/18 season, Ellie is looking forward to getting started with Rockets ahead of what is set to be an exciting season for our women’s programme.
Head Coach Emery is also looking forward to working with Ellie once again, he said, “Having worked with Ellie before I know just how good she can be.
“She is a very good shooter and has a great feel for the game. I’m excited to work with her again and she will be a key piece to what we are looking to accomplish here in Birmingham.”
