Birmingham Rockets are thrilled to unveil the official fixture list for the inaugural 2025/26 British Basketball Championship season, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting campaigns in club history.
Following a breakthrough season in 2024/25 that saw the Rockets push into playoff contention, anticipation is sky-high as Head Coach Smith’s new-look roster prepare to take back to the court!
BCB Trophy: Rockets Host Hemel In September’s Groupstage
We begin our 2025/26 BCB Trophy campaign away at Milton Keynes Breakers on Saturday 20th September before returning to Nechells for our first competitive home game of 2025/26 as we host Hemel Storm on Sunday 21st at 5pm.
This season, all home BCB Trophy games are included with a season ticket!

We round off our BCB Trophy groupstage with a visit to Bristol Hurricanes on Saturday 27th September.
Home League Opener: Rockets Face Hoods At Nechells On Gameweek Two
The Rockets will launch their league season on Saturday 11th October 2025 away at Derby Trailblazers in a repeat of last season’s opening fixture. Rockets started the 2024/25 season off with an away win in this fixture last season and will be looking to do so again this season!
Our first home game falls one week later, on Saturday with a blockbuster home opener against fierce rivals Nottingham Hoods at Nechells Wellbeing Centre. Expect a high-energy clash and a packed-out crowd as both teams look to make an early statement!
