With the season edging towards its finale we have two first team games and four junior games set for this weekend…
First Teams
Women’s First Team
Our Rockets Women are back for their penultimate home game of the season tomorrow with Liverpool the visitors to Nechells at 5pm.
A depleted Rockets side battled to overcome Charnwood last weekend, outscoring the East Midlanders in each of the game’s four quarters en-route to the win.
With a deeper roster at his disposal tomorrow, Coach Clive Allen will be keen for the team to prove a point and finish the season on a strong footing!

Orlan Jackman’s 25-point performance in the reverse fixture against Essex at Nechells helped push the game to overtime at the start of November, and with games quickly running out time is ticking as the team look to bring playoff basketball back to Brum!

Junior Performance Programme
Under 14 Boys
Our Under 14 Boys are back in action after a break last weekend and face a trip north to face Manchester Giants Blue in their latest Northern Premier division matchup.
With just two league outings left this season, the team will be eager to finish the season with a pair of wins against sides currently below them in the standings.
Rockets claimed a comfortable 73-62 win in the reverse fixture against Giants at Nechells back in November and will be keen for a repeat performance tomorrow afternoon!

Under 16 Boys
It’s another doubleheader weekend for our Under 16 Boys with games against Derby Trailblazers and Newcastle Eagles coming up.
The team comfortably dispatched of City of Leeds Gold home and away last weekend to extend their winning run to five games.
After a slow start against Derby in the reverse fixture, Rockets battled back thanks to their strong defence to take a 21-point win at Nechells (78-57).
The team will be keen to avenge November’s defeat in Newcastle in the return fixture this Sunday, with Rockets hosting the northerners at 1:20pm at Nechells.

Under 18 Men
CAVC Vipers are the visitors to Nechells tomorrow as they face off against our Under 18 Men at 2:20pm.
Coach D’Alva’s side have just two games remaining after the withdrawal of Huish Taunton Tigers during the week with it all to play for in the Western Premier.
A slow start cost the team in the reverse fixture and the group will be eager to start on the front foot against the Welsh side.
