City of Birmingham Rockets can confirm that guard Kayne King has been released from our men’s first team roster.
Kayne played an important role in our historic 2022/23 National Basketball League Division Two North title and playoff finals campaign and departs with the best wishes of everyone at Rockets.
The 27-year-old guard averaged 8.7 points per game and 5.8 assists during the 2022/23 season and departs with a 5.4 points per game and 2.8 assist average since our promotion to NBL Division One.
We would like to thank Kayne for his contributions during his time with us and wish him all the best in his future career.
