City of Birmingham Rockets are pleased to confirm that Ruth Usman is joining up with our Women’s First Team for 2022/23!
Ruth was part of our YBL roster last season, a competition we went on to win, and impressed new Head Coach Ryan Emery during the offseason.
Coach Emery signalled her versatility as a key reason for adding Ruth to the roster and is eager to see her continue to develop as the season progresses.
He said, “Ruth has really impressed during pre-season her natural ability to defend 1 through 5 is going to be so important for us this year.
“She has so much potential I’m excited to work with her!”
We look forward to seeing Ruth back out on the court in a Rockets jersey soon and wish her every success for the upcoming season!
