Saturday marked the end of the season for our Under 18 Boys Conference side who wrapped up their 2022/23 campaign with a dominant 97-55 win over Stourport Spartans to ensure a second-place finish in the league standings.

It has been a fantastic year for Coach Dudley’s side who finish the season with a 7-4 record after Saturday’s win.

Another side enjoying a brilliant season are our Under 16 Boys Premier, with Saturday’s 74-70 home win against Trafford Magic moving the team to a 17-2 record as the team look to keep the pressure on Manchester Magic in the race for the league title.

Saturday’s other home tie saw our Under 14 Boys Premier side narrowly lose out to Manchester Giants as the race for the playoffs intensifies.

Coach Tavares’ side fought back valiantly but fell to a 76-70 defeat at Nechells in a close contest.

Our Under 18 Boys Premier faced a back-to-back weekend with a long trip to Solent Kestrels first on the agenda on Saturday morning.

Despite the defeat on the south coast, Coach Ricardo D’Alva’s team bounced back in emphatic fashion with a crucial 87-70 win against Ballers Heaven as the team cemented their midtable position on Sunday.

Sunday was also a positive day for our Under 18 Women’s side who recorded a narrow 55-54 win at Nottingham Wildcats to pull a game ahead of our hosts with a game in hand.

Coach Elfrey’s side will be looking forward to the playoffs after a fantastic season!

Our Under 12 Mixed side fell to a tough home defeat against a strong Milton Keynes side but the team will be looking to close the gap on seventh placed Northamptonshire Titans before the end of the season.
