City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian guard Jayden Grewal from Portuguese side MBA Montijo Basket.
Jayden joins our men’s first team for the remainder of the 2023/24 season and will add pace and scoring to our roster.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Jayden went on to represent the University of Waterloo Canada from 2017-2022 before moving to Portugal at the start of the 2023/24 season.
Speaking ahead of his announcement, Jayden said, “I play the game at a fast pace and love to run in transition, get my teammates involved and score from all three levels.
“I am super excited to be in Birmingham with the Rockets!”
Jayden is registered and in contention to make his debut tomorrow evening against Derby Trailblazers.
