Birmingham Rockets are delighted to announce the return of Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Orlan Jackman, ahead of the 2025/26 BCB season.
Orlan is entering his third season as a Rocket after joining the club in the summer of 2023.
He brings a wealth of top-level experience to the group after enjoying a stellar career in the former British Basketball League (BBL) and around Europe.

Orlan has turned out for London Lions, Iserlohn Kangeroos (Germany), CAB Madeira (Portugal), Worcester Wolves, Newcastle Eagles, Cheshire Phoenix, London City Royals, Solent Kestrels and Worthing Thunder as well as Team GB in his storied playing career.
Orlan averaged 13.7 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game and 3.4 rebounds per game last season.
He finished last season in great form, with a 22-point outing against Newcastle as we took a narrow overtime win followed by an 18-point performance against London Cavaliers.
We caught up with Orlan for his thoughts ahead of the new season.
“I am really pleased to be back with the Rockets for the new British Championship Basketball season.
“We have a good group of players this season and I know we are capable of having a great year.
“I am looking forward to seeing our supporters and getting the season started!”
Welcome back, Orlan!
