This team were highly impressive this season, staying unbeaten. They have improved so much in the year and are developing into a fine squad indeed.
Standout players this season were Sarah Elfrey who top scored for both the U16 and U18’s and rightly won the MVP award for the U16’s, Annalise Mills who won the Most Improved Player award and Annabelle Parnell-Lea who won the Coaches Player award for the U16’s.

Annabelle and Sarah have developed a lethal partnership and they often dominated games between them. Sarah is such a promising player and the team rely on her to keep the scores ticking over. Her improvement this year has been unbelievable and she is such a vital member of the team and definitely one to watch next season. Sarah has the talent, ability and temperament to go far.

U16 Captain Annabelle Parnell-Lea had another fine season. She is our main playmaker and easily led the totals in assists. Annabelle is our leader on Court and she is the key element that gels the team together being great on attack and defence too. She again scored a large points tally this season.

Alessandra Anywanu, Annalise Mills and Ellani McKain all had a solid season, performing well in all our games. We count on these three for their finishing, fight and fitness. Without these three players we would definitely find matches far more difficult. Annalise also led the season’s totals in steals and is a very important player for us!. Her fight, speed and her finishing this season has been really impressive. Alessandra is a very talented and versatile player and key to the squad. Ellani is immensely important to the squad and her speed and athleticism are fantastic. Ellani is a great team player and often does a lot of the roles on Court that can go unnoticed. Without her we would not win as many games so easily.

We look forward to seeing this group of girls in the National League next season.
