Rockets Under 14 Conference 2 team showed incredible progression during the shortened season in the West Midlands Conference finishing with a 7&5 win/loss record.

The team selected were new to National League competition, full of potential with a goal of development during the campaign. The squad were low in numbers but big in heart,
whilst Coach Walker and Coach Lacey provided knowledge, experience and insight to a relatively small side.

As the season evolved team performances improved as the players started to show a better understanding of decision making and the intensity required to compete whilst
developing superb team defence and superior free throw shooting that enabled some memorable and exciting games.

2 wins over West Bromwich Albion and a 2 point loss against league winners Team Birmingham Elite were the standout results of the season. The club are proud that this inexperienced team showed so much Rockets intensity and determination to improve throughout the season!

Team Manager Ceri Lipscombe was thrilled with the season, “ We started off slowly but picked up rapidly. Thank you so much to the fabulous Sam Walker and Marc Lacey for being such supportive, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful coaches. Thanks also to those parents who provided positive support throughout. It’s been a pleasure organising everything. Proud of you all”

We would also like to thank Ceri for her fabulous efforts as Team Manager during the season. We appreciate your ongoing support!
